Presentation practice
Rehearse presentations with an AI coach that stays on your computer
Run through your talk out loud and get feedback on how you sound and how you stand: pace, vocal variety, filler words, eye contact, posture and gestures. Free, private and offline.
A rehearsal that tells you what an audience sees
Choose Presentation, record a run-through, and press Next at each slide so Kayavak can time each section. Afterwards you replay yourself as an avatar of your choice and jump straight to the moments worth fixing.
What Kayavak measures
| Skill | What you see |
|---|---|
| Pace | Words per minute over time, and stretches that drag or rush |
| Vocal variety | Whether your pitch and loudness move, or sit flat |
| Filler words | Every "um" and "you know", highlighted in your transcript |
| Confident language | Hedges like "I think maybe" or "sort of" |
| Eye contact | How much you look at the camera, which stands in for your audience |
| Posture and gestures | Slouching, closed arms, and how open and visible your hands are |
| Structure | How long each section ran |
Your best version, side by side
Kayavak's best-version overlay shows the corrected you in full colour over a faint shadow of what you did, with arrows for what should move. Your words get the same treatment: polished, then optionally rewritten by a local AI model and spoken back to you.
Track your progress
Every rehearsal adds to your progress charts, so you can see whether your filler words are dropping and your pace is settling across a week of practice. Export any report as a PDF.
Private by design
Kayavak runs on your Mac, Windows or Linux computer. It keeps movement points instead of video, transcribes speech locally, and never needs an account or an internet connection after the first launch. That's why it can be free forever.
